About Me - Emma Selby
I have worked as a medical secretary and practice manager for over 15 years in the private sector. During this time, I gained extensive secretarial, administrative and managerial skills including the expansion of practices and training new employees. I thrive in a busy environment while maintaining a calm and patient disposition. I have a friendly nature and am very meticulous with my work, organised and excellent at multi-tasking.
I decided to start up my own virtual assistance service after recognising that I can incorporate my experience and interests into my own business, allowing more time to work for several consultants. I chose to specialise in the private medical sector due to the high demand in this field and as this is where my expertise lies. By offering a virtual medical administrative service with flexible hours, this enables you to save time and money.
Prior to my employment as a medical secretary, I worked as an aesthetician in the clinical beauty industry, which also included administration duties. My passions include dance and I have gained a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts. I continue this hobby in my spare time, as well as other pursuits, such as yoga, meditation, holistic therapy and fitness.
Emma was my private medical secretary and practice manager for 10 years.
